Level 2 Health and Social Care Apprenticeship

This Apprenticeship is designed to help those either working or wanting to work in a care environment to up skill themselves to improve their overall providing of care.

There are many people in the UK who are unable to look after themselves. Some may simply need support in the morning, whereas others may be in constant need of care. A care role can see you working as part of the NHS, local authorities, the private sector and many more.

A carer's role is so important to individuals who cannot look after themselves. As a carer you'll enable people to live their life in as much ease as possible. Your duties can involve serving food, making and changing beds and transporting them to hospital for appointments.

Who should take this qualification?

This Apprenticeship should be taken by those who want to gain a nationally recognised qualification to show they possess the skills, knowledge and experience to help those in need of care.

This Care qualification is a great opportunity for you to up skill yourself and progress in your chosen career. Care roles include Healthcare Assistant, Nursing Assistant and Support Worker.

An Apprenticeship in care can lead on to further qualifications, such as a Care Apprenticeship Level 3, which can put you on the path to nursing, management and even the chance to work abroad!
