Payment

Payment is to be made in full before commencement of ALL courses/services. Any additional expenses incurred by our Trainer (e.g. for on-site courses) will be invoiced after the course.

Where a training course is offered at a discount from our list price, the discounted price offered is subject to payment with booking and availability of places.

Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Cheque or Bank Transfer. Cheques are payable to CPL Training Limited (on the reverse list delegates name/s and date of course). Bank transfer details available on request.

Confirmation of Booking

Once payment is received in full CPL Training will forward confirmation of your course reservation, which will include the course material and directions to the training venue.

Cancellation & Change of Date

If an individual candidate is unable to attend the scheduled course date, the candidate should notify CPL Training at least 24 hours in advance. If they do so, CPL Training will agree an alternative course date with the candidate for any course date in the next 6 months, subject to availability and to the payment of an administration charge (currently £15.00 - payable at time of amendment).

Where a candidate fails to notify CPL Training of their inability to attend their confirmed course date then a new booking will have to be made. This may incur a re-booking fee of £50.00 plus VAT. Where the candidate fails to contact us within 4 weeks of the original confirmed course date, then any re-booking after that date will be treated as a new booking and shall attract the full course fee in force at that time.

Refund Policy

If a course is run exclusively for a corporate customer - at CPL Training’s offices, on a customer site or any other alternative venue - the same no-refund terms apply in the event of cancellation, but an alternative course date can be arranged by agreement.

In the event that it is necessary for CPL Training to cancel or reschedule a course, we will endeavour to give a minimum of 7 days notice. In such circumstances a full refund will be made, or alternative dates will be made available. All liability by CPL Training will be limited to the value of the original course fee.

First Aid Training Course

  1. CPL Training Group require payment at time of booking to confirm the course place, unless otherwise specified. CPL Training Group reserve the right to withhold the course certificate until such payment has been made.

  2. CPL Training Group reserves the right to use third party consultants/trainers to deliver the service.

  3. CPL Training reserves the right to cancel or postpone a course if the numbers are not sufficient for the course to run. CPL Training Group also reserves the right to change the venue or the date of the course should circumstances arise beyond our control. In the event of this happening CPL Training Group will endeavour to give the Client as much notice as possible as the circumstances permit.

  4. Cancellation or transfer of a course is valid only when the Client notifies CPL Training Group in advance. Please see below table of cancellation / postponement fees chargeable in the event of this happening.

    in the case of cancellation:

    1. More than 4 weeks before commencement date: Full Refund

    2. Between 2-4 weeks before Commencement date: 50% of amount charged

    3. Less than 2 weeks before Commencement date: 100% of amount charged

    in the case of request for transfer:

    1. More than 4 weeks before commencement date: First transfer at no charge, subsequent transfer, 25% of amount charged

    2. Between 2-4 weeks before Commencement date: 25% of amount charged

    3. Less than 2 weeks before Commencement date: 50% of amount charged

In the event a delegate fails to attend the course without prior notification, the full fee will be forfeited, and the full course price will charged to rebook.
