Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA)
Here we work with the care sector to provide training in the Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA). The course includes additional support in adult numeracy and literacy skills.
Who should take this course?
This course is for anyone working with anyone who is vulnerable and more specifically, residential and domiciliary care workers including: carers, supervisors, trainers and managers working with older people; vulnerable adults and service users living in their own home.

Why do I need this qualification?
The care qualification, SOVA (Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults) will be a requirement from September 2009 in all care homes.
