CPL Overview
CPL Training is an international training provider offering a range of training courses and qualifications that are nationally or internationally recognised.
UK training and qualifications
In the UK our qualifications for Licensing are all nationally recognised and offer progression for the managers of licensed premises and the staff working in them. They include our flagship qualifications the National Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (NCPLH) and the Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (SCPLH). The NCPLH and SCPLH qualifications are available at scheduled courses run at 70 training venues located throughout England, Wales and Scotland. We are the biggest provider of training for licensing in the UK.
We also offer the National Diploma for Designated Premises Supervisors (NDDPS). This has designed for managers of licensed premises who have gained the NCPLH and wish to progress their knowledge and skills.
Other qualifications that we have developed to support the UK Licensing Objectives include the Award in Underage Sales Prevention and the National Certificate in Drugs Awareness.
CPL offers qualifications in First Aid, Food Safety levels 2 and 3, Health and Safety and a range of qualifications for the security industry including Door Supervision, Security Guarding, Public Space Surveillance CCTV and Communication and Conflict Management.
International and teacher training qualifications
Our international qualifications include the English Language Assessment Tests, which are recognised by Warwick University as partial preparation for the Warwick English Language Tests.
We offer the TARGET English Language Tests online, as well as TESOL teacher training and generic teacher training - Preparing for Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (PTLLS). English Language teacher recruitment is also a service we provide.
We are currently providing training and testing throughout the Gulf and Middle East regions, Australia, Vietnam and South Korea.
