Go further with a QCF-NVQ
You can start a QCF-NVQ qualification whether you have just left school or if you're working and want to up skill yourself.
A QCF qualification can be taken by itself (Level 1) or as part of an Apprenticeship (Levels 2/3). The skills gained during this type of qualification are transferable and are skills that employers want to see.
We provide QCF –NVQ qualifications at levels 2 and 3. Both levels of qualification are made up of Key Skills.
Key/Functional Skills
Key/Functional Skills consist of:
- Application of Number
- Numeracy and Communication
- Literacy
You will be supported throughout your QCF by a qualified CPL Training assessor, who will provide information, guidance and advice through 1-2-1 meetings. To complete your Key/Functional Skills you will need to show your development, competence and knowledge in the workplace. This is shown through your portfolio of evidence as well as a test, which is measured against national standards.
