Discovering Talent through QCF/NVQs
The Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) represents the new, flexible work-related qualifications. As of 1st January 2011 previous qualifications known as NVQs have transferred over to the QCF, which has over 5,000 new vocational qualifications with more being announced.
This new framework will make work-related qualifications clearer for learners and more flexible as it allows content from previous qualifications you've gained to count towards other qualifications so learning is not duplicated.

You will be asked to complete a portfolio as part of your assessment to show your progress, skills and knowledge. You will also be assessed performing your day-to-day tasks to reflect what you know and show how your skills have developed.
