What is HACCP?
HACCP is a qualification for food handlers who are required by law to know and understand the HACCP principles and be able to implement and document them.
Who should take this qualification?
Key members of staff involved in assessing risks to food safety and implementing policies designed to control those risks.

How do I gain this qualification?
By sitting a one-day training course followed by a short multiple-choice test. To ensure your business fulfils theHACCP knowledge requirements there is a one-day training course available from CPL. Should you propose at least eight persons to attend this course, CPL can carry out the training at your place of work.
Accreditation
The awarding body for the HACCP qualification is the Royal Institute of Public Health. The qualification is accredited at Level 2 in the National Qualifications Framework.
