Training - Course List - First Aid - Appointed Persons

First Aid - Appointed Persons
What is Emergency First Aid in the Workplace - Appointed Person?
A course of training for persons appointed to take responsibility for First Aid in the workplace.
Who should take this qualification?
When an employer has assessed that a four-day First Aid in the Workplace qualification is unnecessary, the minimum legal requirement is to train and appoint a person who will take charge of First Aid arrangements. This includes looking after the equipment and facilities, and calling emergency services when required. Arrangements must be made for an Appointed Person to be available for these duties at all times when people are at work.
What will I learn on the course?
By the end of the course, candidates will be able to demonstrate the essential knowledge and skills needed when dealing with threatening First Aid emergencies in the workplace.
