CPL Strengthen Management Team

CPL, the UKs leading provider of training to the licensed retail sector, has strengthened and consolidated its core management team, appointing a new financial director and two high profile non-executive directors.

John Taylor, former European supply chain Director at Unilever will join former Bristol & West International Director and Chief Executive, Chris Robinson, to support and advise the team on strategic issues as the company continues to enjoy rapid growth, diversifying into a range of new sectors and disciplines.

John Taylor will examine CPL's market position and identify future areas of possible growth that are clearly aligned with the company's wider expansion plans. His knowledge and understanding of corporate development will prove to be a huge asset as CPL prepare to drive the business further forward.

With over 20 years experience in the banking and finance industry, Chris Robinson has particular strengths in the establishment and development of customer relationships. His key role will be to support and develop the strategy required to expand CPL's partnerships with existing and potential corporate clients.

Chris Robinson commented: "CPL is a dynamic company that is recognised nationally as a leader within its field. I look forward to continuing to work alongside the senior management team on a range of exciting new initiatives."

Other changes include the appointment of Gail Mortimer as Finance Director based at CPL's head office in Wirral. Daniel Davies assumes the position of Chief Executive, leading CPL's overall development, whilst Paul Chase retains the position of CPL Chairman, with responsibilities for qualification and course development and CPL's expansion into Scotland.
