CPL TRAINING MAKE MARK AT GREAT BRITISH PUB AWARDS

CPL Training, the UK’s leading provider of personal licence training, has announced its category sponsorship of this year’s Great British Pub Awards. These prestigious Morning Advertiser led awards are designed to recognise excellence in licensed retailing across the sector. CPL Training is set to sponsor the Best Programme for Pub Staff Training award which will be presented to the pub that has done most to develop the skills of its staff.

Held at the London Hilton on Park Lane in September, the awards are considered one of the highlights in the industry calendar. Suzanne Smith, Corporate Director of CPL Training said: “The Best Programme for Pub Staff Training is a new award being launched this year. CPL training has worked closely with the MA to develop this award as we felt that it was important to mark the achievements of publicans in training and developing their people. The category winner will be chosen after reviewing evidence of best practice in dealing with customers, perfect pour, product knowledge and individual career progression.”
