CPL Training announces the launch of 'CPL Scotland'

CPL Training has been providing licensee training in Scotland since July 2007 at two training venues, in Edinburgh and in Glasgow. We aim to open another three centres - in Aberdeen, Inverness and Dundee by October this year, creating local availability in all of Scotland's main population centres.

A CPL Scotland office will also be established so that we can co-ordinate training in Scotland and provide a first class service to Scottish learners. CPL Scotland's Director of Training Denise MacKean commented: "We are proud to announce the launch of CPL Scotland and to commit ourselves to the provision of training and qualifications for the benefit of the Scottish people."

The transition to the new licensing regime in Scotland will begin in 2008 with Licensing Boards accepting personal licence applications from February 2008 onwards. The new Scottish Certificate for Personal Licence Holders (SCPLH) will be available from CPL Scotland from October this year and will replace the current Scottish Licensee's Certificate.
