About Us - Our Team - Jeremy Sirrell - Solicitor

Jeremy Sirrell
Solicitor
Jeremy qualified as a Barrister in 1981 and became a legal adviser to the Magistrates in the Magistrates’ Courts Service. Becoming quickly bored with that position, he then took up a position as a Prosecutor in the Crown Prosecution Service before deciding to embark upon the more challenging career of private practice and, teaching himself the Law Society Part 2 examinations, qualified as a Solicitor in 1989, since which time he has been engaged in extensive advocacy as a Solicitor in the Magistrates’ Courts and has been a partner in Palmers since 1990.
Having uniquely wide experience of the Magistrates’ Court system, he is able to advise on all matters which come before the Magistrates’ Court including Licensing Appeals, both simple and complex, and all and any criminal matters which may be breaches of the Licensing Act or any regulatory crime, including under-age sales, health and safety, food safety etc.
